Get on the spot government rebates with the Cash for Caulker Program

The Obama government came out with a wonderful plan called Cash for Caulker is to combat carbon deposits and make United States an energy efficient country. The bill was passed but is still awaiting approval from the Senate. If approved, government is expected to give out six billion dollars to home owners in the form of rebates over the next two years.

The main aim of the Cash for Caulker is to create jobs and use the money that is generated into the economy and make the every home in the United States energy efficient. A study confirmed that during recession many have lost their jobs mainly in the construction industry and in some places, the unemployment rate was as high as 17%. The program will provide rebates to home owners to make their home energy efficient and also provide jobs by employing construction professionals who will help the home owners meet their objective of making their homes energy efficient.

The program is expected to give out rebates of up to three thousand dollars for every home which take up steps to improve the energy efficiency by replacing windows, doors, improving the cooling and heating systems and making installation improvements. Up to eight thousand dollars are reimbursed as rebates to those homes which take up a comprehensive home energy audit and increase energy efficiency by 20%.
